1. Daily & Weekly Care

• Vacuum regularly — Low suction, no beater brushes, never over fringes
• Rotate every 2-3 months — Prevents uneven wear and fading
• Use doormats — Traps dirt before it reaches your rug
• Shoe-free policy — Dramatically reduces dirt and pollutants

2. Spill & Stain Management

Act immediately. Blot — never rub — with a clean, dry, white cloth. Work from the outer edge inward. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals. Dry thoroughly to prevent mold and odors.

3. Sunlight & Furniture Protection

• Use UV-filtering curtains or blinds near windows
• Place felt pads under all furniture legs
• Reposition furniture every 6 months
• Silk rugs need extra protection from direct light

4. Storage Guidelines

• Roll — never fold — with pile facing outward
• Wrap in breathable cotton, not plastic
• Store in a dry, climate-controlled area off concrete floors
• Use cedar blocks for moth protection
• Inspect every 2-3 months

6. Pet-Friendly Rug Care

• Vacuum more frequently with HEPA filtration
• Use CRI-certified pet-safe cleaners only
• Extract urine with wet/dry vacuum — never steam
• Clean accidents immediately to prevent permanent stains

7. Shedding & Loose Threads

Shedding is normal for the first 15-20 Days in new wool rugs. Vacuum gently with low suction. Trim loose threads with scissors — never pull. Contact us if shedding persists beyond 1 months.
